The Finnish Natural Heritage Foundation and the Martha organisation Marttaliitto have launched a joint campaign which will be raising funds to protect a natural area. The new conservation area will be called the Martha Forest. The Martha Forest campaign will culminate in the organisation’s 125th anniversary in 2024.

Through this campaign, the Martha organisation wants to do its bit to stop the loss of biodiversity and protect forests.

We will be raising funds for the campaign in collaboration with the Martha organisation’s members, and the plan is to organise various events on both a national and local level. Everyone who is interested in nature conservation are welcome to participate in this project.

The Martha fundraising campaign was launched in May 2023, and it will run until the end of 2024. You can participate in the fundraiser on the Finnish Natural Heritage Foundation’s campaign page or by making a bank transfer to the Foundation’s bank account:
